Victor Young
Founding Principal

Victor Young, Greenbelt’s Founding Principal and Houston, TX native, is responsible for directing the firm’s business strategy and leading all development projects Greenbelt is engaged in. Victor utilizes a thoughtful, pragmatic and efficient nature to orchestrate the sourcing and execution of development projects while serving as the lead contact for all consultants and partners. Victor has worked in the Austin real estate community for the greater of 10 years and has formed strong relationships throughout the community.

Most recently, Victor is responsible for developing the SXSW Center, an office building located at 1400 Lavaca Street in Downtown Austin, TX. Greenbelt is currently underway on Eastlake at Tillery and Arena Tower, two office developments totaling 658,000 RSF combined. Prior to founding Greenbelt Commercial in 2013, Victor worked at AQUILA Commercial in development and tenant representation.  

Victor obtained his bachelor’s degree from Rice University before completing law school at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, TX.

 

Stephen joined Greenbelt in October 2018. As a Development Associate, Stephen’s primary responsibilities include financial analysis and deal diligence, project management and coordination with consultants, capital partners and potential tenants. Stephen serves as a key point of contact for items related to Greenbelt’s ongoing and future projects and is involved in business development for Greenbelt as well.

Stephen is a member of Urban Land Institute, the 2019-2020 ULI Young Leaders Mentorship Forum and serves on the 2019 ULI Butler Gameday Committee.

Prior to joining Greenbelt, Stephen interned in multifamily brokerage followed by commercial acquisitions. Stephen graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Government after briefly attending Auburn University.
